Each year millions decide to get into internet marketing as in running a internet based business. 

It's a great decision because it's the beginning of the Golden Age for savvy online marketers and there's no quicker, easier and simpler way for someone to gain control of their financial life and create another sources of income than while using a internet based business. 

Once again...

It's never been easier and simpler for a novice to start and profit with a internet based business.

But unfortunately...

within a year, 90% of the newbies quit, falsely believing making money with a internet based business is a big giant scam.

What a shame.  Especially at the beginning of the Golden Age for savvy online marketers.

Of course there are many, many money-making scams on the net ( just like in the off-line world ) but that does not mean that making money on the net in general is a scam.

How Millions Blow It...

Ok, here's how most of those millions I was talking about earlier blow the best thing to happen to modern man since sliced bread. ( a internet based business )

1 - They get caught up using the wrong net business model to begin with - such as MLM or some "program" that requires them to earn their money by recruiting people to join the program etc.   

This is the beginning of the tragedy for those millions.

It's seems and sounds sooooooooooo easy but, it's the worst net biz model possible and unfortunately millions think it's the holy grail. 

Wrong!  Wrong!  Wrong!

They only folks making any money to speak of in mlm are the owners of the "programs" and a very few people with deep, deep pockets and lots of marketing expertise and perhaps a huge list.


2 - They are unwilling to change after hearing about the tragedy of MLM.

Folks don't want to hear that their beloved biz op is basically a scam and isn't going to work for them or anyone else,  so most ignore the warnings and then soon forget that there are many other options available to make good money on the net. 

They plow on for another 6 months to a year sometimes often changing programs and then quit in disgust. ( forgeting that there are other options )

My grandmother used to say... "a hard head makes a soft rump"

3 - Unwillingness to invest $$$ in knowledge and tools etc. to get better and more profitable.

There's lots of free how to make money info on the net, and you can spend days or weeks piecing it together, but for serious step by step systems for net biz models, traffic generation, conversion etc.,  good solid step by step info costs some money. 

Why on earth, would anyone who has already invested their time, energy and hard earned money to learn how to do something well, that makes them good money, simply give away that life changing information, tactics and resources free to a person that can afford to pay for it?    Not gana happen.

Bottom line, all successful marketers  have invested $$$ and their time to make themselves better. 

Guess what?   It doesn't have to cost anyone a arm and leg.

4 - Unwillingness to get a low cost website or other marketing platform:

Lack of a website or other marketing platform bespeaks of a lack of basic internet business sophistication.  

No website or blog means they have not taken the time to learn some very simple online business basics.

Slapping up a cut & paste web page or a free blog or some other type of Web 2.0 marketing platform is the easiest & simplest part of the online business process. 

No one builds web pages from scratch anymore - there are 100's of free web page templates that come along with any decent low-cost website hosting account.  

It also means that the person probaley won't be making any money since 99% of decent money earners with a internet based business do have a website, blog or some other type of marketing platform.  

99% of those that never make any decent money do not use any type of marketing platform - go figure???????

5 - Unwillingness to learn what they have to learn and more importantly do what they have to do.

Too many people just want to run a few biz op ads at biz op hangouts and hope for the best.   It's not good enough and the proof is in the pudding as millions have already tried that failed model.

At it's core making money on the net is very simple, but simple is not the same as easy.  

All folks have to do is...

a. Have a good offer... ( there are 10's of 1,000's of quality offers and the offers can be obtained for free )

b. Get lots of quality free or extremely low cost visitors to the offer...

- Too many folks won't take the time to learn how to generate lots of targeted visiters:

c. Get enough of the visitors to convert into money when they get to the offer.

That's it! 

- Conquer all three and you have a license to print money on demand.

Ps. Someone has to do the setup work  involved with each offer then proper promotion of the offer and that takes strategic action.


6 - Unwillingness to test other niches outside the "how to make money" niche.

Lots of marketers have failed big time in the ultra-competitive "how to make money" niche but had enough sense to listen to someone that advised them to at least investigate and test other niches if things are not going well with selling "how to make money" stuff or a mlm program to others.

Many have gone on to do quite well in those other niches because they took the powerful knowledge and tactics from the internet marketing niche and applied it to other markets.

There are 1,000's of other less competitive niches on the net and it seems it would be 10 times easier to sell to someone who's not trying to sell to you right?

Millions falsely believe that selling "how to make money" info or opportunities is all that there is when it comes to internet marketing or conducting a internet business.   Nothing could be further from the truth.

If you want to compete in the "how to make money" niche you better come correct with something other than mlm or you can just forget it.

7 - Unwillingness to understand and use "real net biz models" such as the simple Affiliate Model, List Building Model, Resale Rights Model or any of the other proven models in their business. 

8. Failure To Build List(s) Of Prospects:

Most shiver at the thought of building their lists.

The slightly bolder ones start building their list using a silly so-called list building service such as bla-bla-bla lucky List Building service to other internet marketers where they build a small list, but do not control the list. 

Unless they pay for an upgrade they can only email the people in their lists perhaps once a week.  Secret... all they did was help build a list for the owner of the service.

Some reasons they are afraid of list building:

- They have nothing to say to the market they're operating in. Most are in the "how to make money" marketing and haven't made any money?

- It involves a little bit of technical stuff like slapping up a landing page, inserting a small line of code on the form to create a opt-in box.

- They believe it involves too much work.

Building lists may be the most profitable online business activity anyone can persue because they would be building a long term asset that can generate cash on demand for them and for so many other good, sound internet business reasons.


9. Unwillingness to be savvy & mental lazyness:

Most are scared to death of a little smart work and anything that's not super drop dead simple such as post a ad somewhere and hope for the best.
 
That childlike fear of critical thinking has helped millions murder their own online business dreams. 

Making money online has never been easier because it's the Golden Age for the savvy and those not afraid to put in some smart work. 

The fact are that...

Anyone with common sense, a decent work ethic and can follow simple instructions can make extra, good, great and even leave the job type of money with a internet based business - as long as they obey the rules.

Let's sum things up shall we?

- If you're messing around with a mlm program of any type - leave it alone.

If your money depends on someone recruiting someone - for you leave it alone - because you're not going to win that battle.  Not gana happen.

- If you haven't made any money to speak of in the "how to make money niche" - in months, it's time to move on and test other niches and offers.

- Start using a low cost or free website and the free Web 2.0 marketing platforms in your business.

There are dozens of things you can do with your own website hosting account that will expode your profits.

Having your own little free or $10 per month website makes a statment to yourself that you have conquered the small technical hurdle that 99% of the people who make money have already done.

* All Web 2.0 means to savvy marketers is simply lots of free exposure and visitors to our offers.

- Make a investment in knowledge & resources that will move your forward - if you don't already have the knowledge and resources.

* Understand that learning how to generate lots and lots of visitors is the most valuable skill you can master and will guaranteed your success.

- Develope a plan of action and take action.
